Appearance: Aukai's hair is a redder shade of brown that has long, lazy curls. Its length is about down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are a deep shade of blue that matches the shade ocean she grew up living near. Her height is 5'5" tall and she weighs around 120 pounds. She has a toned, athletic body and is quite tan. Scars cover almost every part of her body because of how many accidents she's been in, from tripping, to wiping out while surfing.

Personality: Usually laid back because of her surfer-like qualities, Aukai usually seems happy and playful most of the time. However she's very quick to anger and can sometimes have extreme mood swings. She cannot tollerate physical pain at all and will start crying over a simple paper cut. She has problems expressing how she feels and is secretly (or maybe not so secret) very insecure about herself and what others think of her. The best thing to do is to try to keep her calm and if that doesn't work just give her some candy and pat her on the head until she calms down (and if she's boiling mad, just leave her alone to cool down... with candy!). 

Element: Water

Abilities: Because her element is water, Aukai is supposedly supposed to be able to manipulate the element easily with her mind. She's a failure, though, as long as mer-folk are concerned. It's very difficult for her to do simple things and when she does do them succesfully, she usually ends up with a massive migrane. Also being part Mer, she can become a mermaid, tail (color a pale blue in case you were wondering) and all.

History: Aukai's mom is a mermaid. Her dad is a human. Shortly after they got married and had her, her mother had to return to the ocean and could not come back on land again. Although she would visit her mama often she basically grew up living with only one parent: her papa (who went on business trips so she when she got older she had to raise herself). She was one of those girls at school that you couldn't hate and had friends in every clique imaginable. She's always felt excluded from both human and mer life because she's a half blood. Yet she still absolutely loves the ocean with all her being.
